Mounted Ploughs
RABE Albatros 120
ALBATROS compact mounted reversible plough with well thought-out frame geometry.
Even in its smallest version with a 110 mm frame, the ALBATROS has a sophisticated frame geometry. For example, the first body lies close to the tower due to its short design and makes lifting easier for the tractor hydraulics. Or take the adjustment of the cutting width of the first body: it is designed so that it does not require adjustment of the pull point (cutting width adjustment optionally hydraulic). And of course you can equip the ALBATROS with all variants of the famous RABE plough bodies. In addition, the Albatros version with a 120 mm frame is also available as a variant with infinitely variable working width adjustment.
Continuous adjustment of the working width – variant
From the ALBATROS 120 onwards we offer the Variant equipment, with which you can easily adjust the working width of the bodies between 31 and 53 cm from the tractor. The plough's pulling line always runs in the middle of the tractor's rear axle - the feeler wheel, disc coulters and front tools are automatically adjusted. A separate hydraulic cylinder is responsible for pivoting the frame before and after turning - so the cutting width remains untouched!
Hydraulic stone protection – HydroAvant
All RABE ploughs are secured against stones with a shear screw lock. The HydroAvant option also offers a hydraulic stone protection system. It allows each pair of bodies to move upwards and/or to the side. The release force can be adjusted from the tractor and decreases automatically as the excavation height increases to protect the components.
Hydraulic cutting width adjustment of the first body
For ploughing on heavily changing slopes, we offer a hydraulic adjustment of the cutting width of the first body.
Hydraulic frame swivel device
Included as standard on the five-furrow versions and above, the hydraulic frame swivel device can also be ordered as an option on smaller ploughs.
Pre-tools
If you need fertilizer or corn feeders, you generally have the choice between plug adjustment (for quick and consistent adjustment) or round handle holders with a sprocket lock (for particularly variable and precise adjustment).
Disc coulter
You have the choice between system and disc coulters, the latter in a rigid (500mm) or spring-loaded version (600mm).
Wheels
Wheels are available as optional equipment for our mounted ploughs. The feeler wheel is used for depth guidance (with stop buffers for damping when turning), the spring joint option ensures that the wheel always moves backwards after turning. The combination wheel, which is automatically guided backwards when turning, ensures gentle and safe road transport. Equipped with an additional hydraulic cylinder, the working depth can also be changed during ploughing.
