Semi-Mounted Ploughs
RABE Marabu
Large semi-mounted reversible plough for greater efficiency on large areas.
The MARABU PF / PL 180 and MARABU PF / PL 180 HA are RABE's answer to the needs of those working on large areas. Efficiency is the priority here.
Like the KORMORAN, the slewing gear of the MARABU consists of two racks that are hydraulically driven and enable uniform rotation without a dead center via a pinion. Controlled turning processes protect the material. This makes turning so delicate that the rear wheels can be steered perfectly - especially when reversing. Here, too, angles of up to 110° are possible when turning between the tractor and the plough, meaning that the MARABU remains easily controllable at all times when maneuvering and maneuvering, even in its largest version with 13 blades.
With a diameter of 1.15m, the rear wheels of the middle cart are large enough to be able to work on wet floors. Thanks to the frame joint at the height of the center cart, the rear depth control wheel is able to always optimally track the rear coulters. This means that ploughing undulating fields always remains precise.
Optionally, the MARABU is also available in an onland version for crawler tractors and a trail lifter is available for tractors without hydraulics.
RABE plough body
Of course, all RABE plough bodies are available for the MARABU.
Hydraulic stone protection – HydroAvant (PF / PL HA 180)
All RABE ploughs are secured against stones with a shear screw lock. The HydroAvant option also offers a hydraulic stone protection system. It allows each pair of bodies to move upwards and/or to the side. The release force can be adjusted from the tractor and decreases automatically as the excavation height increases to protect the components.
Pre-tools
If you need fertilizer or corn feeders, you generally have the choice between plug adjustment (for quick and consistent adjustment) or round handle holders with a sprocket lock (for particularly variable and precise adjustment).
Disc coulter
You have the choice between system and disc coulters, the latter in a rigid (500mm) or spring-loaded version (600mm).
